"Sangria Heaven with a View at Café do Cais! Café do Cais quickly became one of my favorite spots in Porto—and it’s all thanks to their incredible sangria and unbeatable riverside setting! The moment you sit down, you’re greeted with stunning views of the Douro River and the charming backdrop of Ribeira. It’s the perfect place to relax, watch the boats drift by, and enjoy the energy of the city. But let’s talk about the sangria—it’s phenomenal. Fresh, fruity, and perfectly chilled, it strikes the ideal balance of sweetness and strength. You can tell it’s made with quality wine and real fruit, not the watered-down version you get at tourist traps. One pitcher turned into two, and I have no regrets! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the vibe was just right—lively but not overcrowded, with good music and great people-watching. Whether you’re stopping by for a drink or settling in for the afternoon, Café do Cais is a must. Highly recommend for anyone craving a perfect glass of sangria in Porto!"

"Nice place to eat and drink before 6 bridges river Boston cruise. Right next to Boston dock. Great service and ambiance. Even have blankets at your table if it's chilly on the patio. Check it out."

"We loved this little restaurant in Porto. The food was delicious - I had tuna and my wife had the cod “comfort food” dish and both were excellent. The staff was attentive, but not intrusive. Alexandra runs the front of the house very professionally and calmly. The view is amazing. We would highly recommend."

"This was a great family experience for dinner. We were able to sit at the far end of the restaurant feeling like you are in a fishbowl with beautiful views of the water, bridge and great people watching. The food was delicious. Even my picky kids loved it. Wonderful drink and appetizer selection and good prices."

"I ate a Francesinha and one person from my group chicken which was delicious. I would give 5 stars but there was noise and the table was sticky."

"This restaurant is located on the waterfront in Porto with great views of Villa Nova de Gaia as well as the Douro River. Great place to stop for a quick bite and drink and do some people watching. My husband had the Francesinha and loved it. I had the burger which was very dry and tasteless."
